I went to see April due to body aches and tender knees, alot of pickleball. She is the most caring person. She is knowledgeable in her field of healing and acupuncture. She explains what she will be doing, why, and what the healing will provide. She provides a relaxing meditative atmosphere. She's not rushing to get you in and out. She will spend quality time with you. My knees and body? Amazing! 100% physically and mentally. Thank you April.

Dr April Johnston is amazing. She is not only knowledgeable, kind, so smart to figure out what you need and completely makes you feel at ease. I have been to many acupuncturist’s before and she far exceeds every one of them. I only wish I could take her home with me. But rest assured I will see her each and every time I come to Kona. Give her a try you will not be disappointed. I came to the island in pain, after a nasty fall and I am leaving a million times better.

Due to my training, and past injuries, I am constantly in pain and have restrictive movement. I visit Dr. Johnston regularly and after every visit have found the pain is significantly reduced, and movement and alignment feels restored. Dr April Johnston saved our vacation! I injured my back shortly before our trip to the Big Island. I was in intense pain and could hardly walk, so I set an appointment with Dr April. She asked about my activities which lead to the back pain and diagnosed a psoas and SI injury, resulting in sciatica. After the first acupuncture session (which I had never done before), I was feeling substantially better. After the second session, I was out walking and snorkeling! Now, after the third session, I'm almost good as new! Thank you, Dr April for taking such good care of me, my back, shins and ankle! Mahalo
